OK, this is my last tomato post! But this one I picked this weekend is 16" in CIRCUMFERENCE! I will miss having fresh tomatoes for breakfast, lunch and dinner come November! I think I won't miss skinning, de-seeding, chopping and freezing them for a while though. That has been a job!
I think I cut up too many tomatoes. A 16" diameter tomato, now that would be something to see. But I did get a couple of responses:)
Now onto making jewelry!

Wow that's bigger than a dinner plate!
And it will be eaten as dinner tonight!
I want to see a picture of it.
I mean circumference!! NOT diameter. I knew I was going to write diameter even as I took the circumference and low and behold I did it! Pardon the brain bleep!
It's still a big tomato, but I wouldn't try playing basketball with it now.
How about softball! Nah, I want to eat that puppy with some nice mozz and basil!
I love fresh tomatoes - but didn't get mine in the ground until late June. I only have green fruit right now. I'm jealous!
whew. that is a whopper. I'm right there with you about the deskinning and seeding... but it will be oh so good to open a jar of tomato juice in december!
